Sally Jaquet is a Leith-based community musician who specialises in music-making with children, young people, and vulnerable groups. Her passion and work centres around the belief that music and the arts have the power to improve wellbeing, build strong communities, and shape socially inclusive and thriving societies! Sally enjoys singing a wide range of music from gospel to folk to rock and has worked all over the world – in places like India, Uganda, and Thailand, so loves to play music from different cultures.
Currently, Sally works for Love Music, Singing4Fun Choir (Parkinson’s UK), Crisis Homeless Charity, and Earth in Common, as well as offering private singing lessons.
When Sally’s not singing she likes to go wild swimming, play the mandolin or piano, and dance to disco and Motown tunes.
